the results are in... our derby awards party is finally coming up... next weekend. i was nominated for the following awards:
Smells Like Team Spirt Award
Your Mom Wins Awards Award
Bruises are a Girl's Best Friend Award
funny stuff... i wonder if i will win...
we will surely see. i'll keep ya posted.
newbie training starts next weekend i think. this sunday is the meeting. i'm going to join in the training because then i can skate and not have to pay dues. i'm sure the training skating will be boring as hell but at least i'll be skating. unfortunately, it's during the same practice time as the travel team so i'm going to be watching them practice and that might sting a little... ok, maybe a lot.
if i get a job soon then i'll try out at the next rolling try outs and this will all just be a very bad dream of remember when i had to quit the travel team?.
